Transworld Snowboarding has released their 2009 Buyer’s guide. Get the best, freshest, most expensive, and most futuristic gear now. This only gives us all about 2-3 months before we’ll all start shredding the frozen H20 again, but at least checking out all the new gear will hopefully satisfy your appetite a bit.

The TWS Good Wood Test has been around for Ten years and has become an industry standard of some of the hottest picks for the year. If a range of experienced riders are giving them the seal of approval, you might want to check em out. More legit than ever. The tenth annual test took place in the perfectly-groomed Parklane Park at Breckenridge, Colorado. 45 Boards passed the test. Complete results are in the issue.

Transworld Snowboarding devised the Good Wood board test to help determine which freestyle board (or boards) perform the best. Now in its tenth year, the annual assessment has become the definitive board test in the biz. These results are worthy of your trust. They use more than two-dozen testers to put multiple boards from 25 brands through the rigors. They should call it “hard work,” but that sounds horribly pretentious. Sure, the days were long, and there was a lot of paperwork involved, but it’s a labor of love and one that every rider is happy to be a part of.
